The faces behind our success
DIETER DE SCHUYMER
Dieter De Schuymer graduated in 2003 as a civil engineer in electronics from Ghent University and earned a Master in Business Management in Bordeaux (France) in 2004. He founded AlterElectra in 2006 and carried out close to 2,500 photovoltaic installations. In 2013 he co-founded go4green to develop and manage third-party energy investment, specialising in cogeneration and green electricity and heat production. In 2024, the Idex group acquired 100% of go4green’s shares. Following this, the new industrial battery project with Eren was launched.
BENOIT DE HOLLAIN
After 10 years of experience in renewable energy production (electricity and heat via cogeneration) within companies, I became acutely aware of the challenges of storing renewable energy. Renewable energy production only partially coincides with self-consumption, so it is important to be able to store renewable energy at the point of production/consumption. But batteries represent a huge capital cost for businesses! This led us, together with the Eren group, to develop a solution that allows any industry to lower its energy bill and its CO2 footprint. Our solutions can go as far as financing the entire investment while guaranteeing savings for the business from day one.
GILLES MARTIN
A civil engineer graduated from KU Leuven with management training from UCL, Gilles held several commercial and financial roles at Unilever and AB-InBev. He then helped Arvesta transform from a holding company of 50 separate businesses into an efficient, unified group. A process specialist, he looks for optimisation and efficiency in everything.
GRÉGORY ADAM
LAURENCE DEBRABANDERE
Laurence holds a master’s degree in finance and has 15 years of experience in financial management, both for SMEs and international companies managed by investment funds.
MARION GAUTIER
Marion holds a master’s degree in history and political science and works in commercial support at Eren Energy Storage.
Thomas Grosjean
Holder of a master’s degree in Marketing/Finance, with 15 years of experience structuring financing solutions for both SMEs and international companies. A trainer at IFAPME, he enjoys promoting solutions to businesses, especially when the project targets energy efficiency.
